Hellooooooooooooooo my friends!  Just a quick post today, to announce the winner of my “techniques book”.  There were 12 comments, so I used the random number generator to pick a winner.

Thank you so much for playing along, Tricia.  Your fingers were lucky!  🙂  Send me  an email (link in my sidebar) – and I will get your book out to you!

I also have a new video to share.  I was inspired by an article in the September/October issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine, written by Jodi Ohl.  This technique uses Silks Acrylic Glazes on Ampersand Claybord, heated with a heavy-duty heat gun until it bubbles!  So cool looking!  I had so much fun making them.  And, I have some ideas about what I’m going to use them for, too.  😉

Congrats, Tricia, on winning the book :)!

(Kim, it’s possible not as many people entered this second giveaway because the first one was announced on YouTube. I know I’m subscribed to different art channels, so when I visit YouTube, everyone’s content is there… but I check corresponding blogs a lot less often, if it all for some artists. Something to keep in mind for next time, maybe?)

And those tiles are beautiful, would love to know how you end up using them!

Well, I’m happy that there were only 12 comments as it gave me better odds to win the background book 🙂 I am very happy and surprised to be the winner. Thank you so much Kim…Tricia

Yes, congratulations Tricia…wish I’d won, LOL! Although I couldn’t get the sound to work on the video, I was able to see the process. Does this only work on this particular kind of board? And, does it only work with silks? Just wondering:)

I’m not sure if it works on anything else, or with other kinds of paint. If you try it, let me know! 😉

    Hi Kim
Yes I e-mailed you on my gmail account as the Outlook express in your sidebar would not work for me. Outlook never does, on my computer anyway.
