My name is Kim, and I live in beautiful Southwestern Ontario, Canada. I am a mixed media ARTIST.  I have enjoyed creating my whole life, (well, from the time I could actually operate scissors!). I would say that my favorite creative outlet at the moment is journal art. I love art journaling because it allows me to play with different mediums, with no pressure about the outcome. Its all about the process.

When I’m not arting, i am usually playing tennis. I also love to travel with my best friend, my husband. We’ve been married for 12 years, and have a two fur babies – our kitties – Wilson and Summer.

Hello Kim, I am so inspired by your talent. I have been browsing through the journaling blogs looking for inspiration to try something new and I love your work and talent. That’s for sharing it with us.

    Hi Kim,
How lucky I feel to have come across your site – I am just about to enter the world of art journalling and Smashing. I am so excited, and I plan to go and get some of the advice and tuition you mention on another site. I have what might sound trivial question, but I want to use the correct type of stamping ink in my Smash book and I can’t seem to find out anywhere! Which sort of ink would you recommend, dye or pigment, or archival?
    With many thanks, Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline, and thank you for your comment and question. It really doesn’t matter what type of ink you use in your Smash book, because you aren’t likely to use any wet media over the ink. Any type of ink will work!
