Gooooooooooooooood Monday Morning! I have a new sketch challenge today, and will be offering a RAK to one lucky cardster. Details to follow. 😉
First, I wanted to share a couple of super-simple cards that I made for a challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers – Sketch #165.
I used up some old pp that I had been pulling out, and putting away for at least a year! I thought a couple of generic cards would be nice to have around. I can add a sentiment later.
Now, my sketch:
AND, my take (x2):
Don’t you just LOVE that stamp? It’s a Penny Black. I stamped it with Ranger Distress Ink (which is embossable! Did you know that?), and embossed with black super-fine embossing powder. Then, I coloured the images with my (brand new) Prismacolor art markers! They are a more affordable version of the Copic markers. The cardstock is Bazzill, all pp is Stampin’ Up, and the ribbon is Maya Road. The flower is Bazzill, and the buttons are $ store. The sentiments are hand written (with the Prisma markers).
So….now the good part! I will be offering up some card kits with the above stamped (and embossed) image, and some yummy pp, along with some super-cute embellies, AND an art marker for you to try! Okay, so it’s not Copic, but I’m not RICH! lol
I am also offering a RAK over at Lil Scrappers (see link over here——>). The challenge is to use some of Tim Holtz’ techniques on his blog, and create some tags. The link to his blog is under my Blogroll over here ———->
Here’s my tags:
A hint about the RAK:
I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Be sure to link your creations to this blog, if you want a chance at winning my Blog Candy! 🙂 Have a great day, everyone!
